Electrical Installations
Domestic
We are able to carry out all electrical installations no matter what size of job. Anything from an extra socket or light fitting, to a full rewire or new installation. We have an extensive knowledge of products available and can design your installation to suit your requirements. It is important to know that any additional load fitted to an electrical installation, needs to be inspected and tested by a qualified electrician, and a certificate issued to verify it complies with the current regulations to comply with Part P of the building regulations.
Commercial
Small shop remodelling or major refit. We can project manage the complete refit or work in conjunction with other trades and designers to achieve the finish you are after. We have dealt in the past with many commercial lighting suppliers and can access some excellent products to give your premises a fantastic look.
Industrial
Small industrial units or small workshop/factories. We can install 3 phase supplies for machinery, or 3 phase/single phase sub mains and distribution boards if your business is growing. We also can offer maintenance schedules for your installation. This can cover anything from replacing lamps, testing emergency lighting up to a full inspection and test of the fixed wiring for insurance/landlords purposes.

Full periodic inspection and testing of fixed wiring installations. Landlords certificates for rented properties and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT tests)
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
The Health and Safety Executive states that 25% of all reportable electrical accidents involve portable appliances. The electricity at work regulations places a legal responsibility on employers, employees and self employed persons to comply with the regulations and take reasonable steps to ensure no danger results from the use of such equipment. This requires the implementation of a regular program of inspection, testing and maintenance .
We at Britesparx are very experienced at Portable Appliance Testing. The importance of a regular Portable Appliance Testing program should not be underestimated. The testing will comply with the electricity at work regulations and the 17th edition of the I.E.T. Wiring Regulations, whichever is applicable.
